PROJECT WORKER
This is a full-time permanent position. Based on 4-point scale,

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
* Work as part of the team within the Sankalpa Addiction Service CLG
to effectively deliver a high level of service in keeping with
Sankalpa?s Mission Statement and core aims and objectives.
* Have a solid understanding of the role of the CE Supervisor.
* Engage with and build a professional trusting relationship with
Participants, treating them with dignity and respect to work within
the values of Sankalpa.
* Devise both group and individual therapeutic activities/programmes
for Participants, trough CBT and CRA, MI SMART Recovery, Reduce the
use, and other psychosocial modalities.
* Assist Participants to progress towards their identified treatment
pathways, always encouraging a collaborative approach.
* Participate in a care and case management model, e.g., assessment,
key working processing referrals, inductions, and exit plans.
* Prepare reports, statistics, and other information, and updating
on Ecass, HRB Link, Outcome?s star, Tops.
* Maintain/develop existing links with relevant statutory, community
and voluntary agencies, creating pathways for Participants.
* Supervise volunteers / students and CE placements.
* Perform tasks related to the day to day running and maintenance of
the effective service such as health and safety, hygiene, maintaining
of building and to ensure that a welcoming and friendly environment is
maintained.
* Ensure compliance with organization policies to ensure consistent
delivery of service and maintenance of quality standards.
* Participate in supervision and performance review.
* Undertake other duties as may be requested by the line manager
from time to time.
ESSENTIAL PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
* Diploma in social work, social care, psychology, addiction studies,
counselling, CRA, CBT addiction studies.
* Degree in Addiction Studies is desirable but not essential.
* Knowledge and understanding of:
* addictions, behaviors, needs and related health issues.
* addiction treatment approaches and relapse prevention
* mental health issues
* domestic violence issues
* complex trauma
* reasons for homelessness and needs, rights, and entitlements of
homeless persons
* Experience in assessment, key working, and care planning
* 2 years paid employment in a relevant care setting, with at least
one year experience in addiction treatment
* Experience facilitating groups / workshops
* Record keeping, report writing,
